TransAct travels to Amsterdam

spe_conferenceThe Printrex team has returned from Amsterdam – with a great deal of information, and several reviews. Our team exhibited at the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) Annual Technical Conference and Exhibition (ATCE 2014.) This event hosted more than 500 exhibitors, all displaying the latest technologies and tools that correlate to the exploration and production (E&P) industry. Our attendance was unique, as we were the only well-logging printer company exhibiting.

This tradeshow allowed our team to explore and learn more about the collection of new technologies designed to enhance the exploration and production of oil and gas FINA . Attendees of this particular conference tend to come from all over the world – North Africa, the Middle East, and Europe.

The event provided multiple training courses, which ranged from “Enhanced Oil Recovery Fundamentals,” to “Hydraulic Fracturing – Design and Treatment.” These courses were useful for attendees to learn the basics behind the development of these new technologies, as well as the latest, most up-to-date procedures.

ATCE 2014 focused primarily on new innovations and technologies that relate to the E&P industry. Our team was blown away by the modernized technologies and the advanced procedures to more efficiently retrieve oil and gas.

Social media was also a popular tool of the conference. Attendees were encouraged to use popular sites such as Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube throughout the conference. This sharing of updates allowed attendees to interact amongst other attendees, and also allowed industry professionals who were unable to attend the conference to stay up-to-date and connected.
