Repairs are warranted for 90 days from the date of repair or for the balance of the original warranty period, whichever is greater. You are responsible for insuring any product returned for service, and you assume the risk of loss during shipment to TransAct. C.O.D. packages are not accepted and warranty repairs are subject to the terms and conditions as stated on the TransAct Warranty Policy that is packed with each new printer. 
 
Fees:

No Problem Found Repairs
If a warranty printer is sent in for repair and the repair center cannot find any defect; there will be a $30 fee applied to the repair.
 
Estimates
If an estimate is requested for an out of warranty repair, TransAct will contact you with the estimate amount. If you decide not to have the printer repaired, you will be charged the $30 estimate fee. If you decide to have the printer repaired; the $30 fee is waived.  

Standard Repair Rates
For out of warranty printer repairs, TransAct charges a labor rate of $75 per hour plus the appropriate charges for any parts used in the repair.
