Steve DeMartino, President and Chief Financial Officer, has responsibility for the company’s overall operating strategy as well as the company’s finance, information technology and human resources functions.   He has been with TransAct since 1996, most recently serving as Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, Treasurer and Secretary. Steve also held the position of Vice President and Corporate Controller. Prior to joining TransAct, Steve worked as Controller for Copart, Inc. (NASDAQ: CPRT), a leading provider of salvage vehicle auction and remarketing services in the United States, Canada and the UK. Steve also worked as Senior Accountant for PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Steve holds a BA in Economics and Accounting from the College of the Holy Cross and an MBA from the University of Connecticut. He is also a Certified Public Accountant.

Mr. DeMartino lives in Durham, CT with his wife Kristen and their two children.
