Michael S. Kumpf Executive Vice President-Engineering

Michael Kumpf, Executive Vice President-Engineering, has been a valued member of TransAct for over a decade and is looked upon as being a vital part of our ambitious growth plans moving forward. 

With a wealth of engineering knowledge and management experience, Michael directs all engineering activities of the Company, including managing the development, design and improvement of TransAct products and assisting in the definition of new products and processes.

Previous to this, he was TransAct’s Senior Vice President of Engineering in our Ithaca Facility and Vice President of Engineering of Ithaca Peripherals Inc. (subsidiary of Tridex Corp.). 

Michael began his engineering career with NCR Corporation and successfully rose to become their Director of Engineering at NCR-Ithaca. He holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Union College.
