Andrew Hoffman, Senior Vice President of Operations, has an impressive 12 year tenure at TransAct. During this time, his responsibilities have included planning and production control, quality assurance, manufacturing, procurement, engineering, inventory control and logistics.

With over 25 years experience in operations, including assembly,
high-speed automation and processing, Andrew has achieved significant success in prioritizing cost reductions through low cost sourcing, improving quality processes, reducing inventory and driving manufacturing efficiencies by utilizing lean methodologies and improving customer service.

He has also managed facility expansions and operational transfers to achieve company objectives. Under Andrew’s leadership, TransAct has successfully completed ISO9001 certification in 1998 and ISO 9000/2000 certification in 2004.

Hoffman holds a B.A. from the State University of New York at Purchase and is a recipient of the TECH 2000 Enterprise award from the Alliance for Manufacturing and Technology for Operational Excellence. He also is an active member and vice-president of the board of directors of AM&T, a not-for-profit, economic development organization serving central and upstate New York.
