This year’s Convention and Expo will be held July 25 – 28 at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, NV.

TRANSACT’S POS team will be located in Booth # 717 where they will demonstrate their Ithaca® 8040, Ithaca® 8000, Epic 880™ and Ithaca® 280™ printers.

The Ithaca® 8040 thermal liner-free sticky printer prints sharp, liner-free “sticky” labels that easily stick to hot or cold beverage cups, eliminating the need for hand-written details regarding the customer’s preferences. As a result, order accuracy and productivity are significantly improved.

Also featured will be the Ithaca® 8000 dual-purpose printer which allows receipts to be printed on either standard thermal paper or liner-free labels – a productive feature that provides both flexibility and value to help streamline operations for quick serve fast casual and take-out restaurants.

In addition, TRANSACT will also feature their Epic 880™ thermal roll receipt printer. With a compact, modular design and an auto paper-loading feature, this printer can be installed in almost any kiosk. With the ability to print on both 4-inch or 6-inch paper rolls, and the option of printing receipts that vary from 2.5 inches to 10 inches in length, the Epic 880™ is the perfect choice for rugged kiosk applications.

The Ithaca 280™ thermal printer thrives in challenging POS industries ranging from retail to hospitality and easily integrates into existing POS systems. This printer offers numerous features including high speed printing at 8-inches per second, an extra-large drop-in paper roll and crisp clear thermal POS receipts with bold graphics in 1 or 2 colors.
