TransAct Technologies Hires Lisa Ferrara As New Vice President of Human Resources
Former Dictaphone Corporation Executive Brings Global Experience to TransAct
WALLINGFORD, Conn., January 31, 2007 –TransAct Technologies Incorporated (NASDAQ: TACT), the leading producer of transaction-based printers for customers worldwide, today announced Lisa Ferrara has recently joined TransAct as Vice President of Human Resources.
In her new role, Ferrara will report directly to Chairman, President and CEO Bart C. Shuldman, assuming responsibility for all hiring, compensation benefits, stock plan administration, recruitment, performance management, employee relations, employee communications, community relations and training for all TransAct locations. Ferrara will maintain an office in the company’s Wallingford corporate headquarters and an office in Ithaca, New York.
Ferrara brings with her 18 years of human resources experience, most recently from Dictaphone Corporation, where she held the position of Vice President, Global Human Resources. There she was responsible for providing leadership to an International human resources department.
